The purity standard

Pure, because compromise has a price.

Our products contain no binders, no fillers, no microcrystalline cellulose, no magnesium stearate, no silicon dioxide, no stearic acid, no metals, no chemicals, no gluten, no wheat, no sugar, no lactose, no artificial colouring, no preservatives.

Case 01

Magnesium stearate

Stearates slow absorption.

Magnesium stearate is a flow agent that coats active ingredients in a thin lipid film so capsule machines run faster. The film slows how much your body can take up. You paid for the full dose; you're getting a fraction.

Case 02

Microcrystalline cellulose

Cellulose irritates the gut.

Microcrystalline cellulose is wood-pulp filler used to bulk capsules by up to 80%. It's indigestible to humans and sits in the same intestinal lining most supplements are trying to support. Our founder Anna is allergic to it — many people are without knowing.

Case 03

Silicon dioxide

Silica disrupts healing.

Silicon dioxide is an anti-caking agent that keeps powder loose in humid factories. Over time it irritates the gut lining — especially in people already healing from inflammation. The product undoes part of what the product is supposedly for.

What’s in your capsule

Why buy natural, when most of it is synthetic?

Most supplements on the shelf are mostly filler. Here’s what that looks like, side by side.

Industry Standard

What's in most capsules on the shelf

  • 10% active ingredient
  • 90% FillerCould be anything — wood pulp, magnesium stearate, silica, sugar. Cheap, undisclosed.

Living Labs

Active plus a synergistic herbal blend

  • 30% active ingredient
  • 70% Synergistic herbal boostCarefully chosen herbs that support what the active is doing — not bulk for the sake of bulk.

Temple Foods

100% active. Nothing else.

  • 100% active ingredient
  • No fillers. No binders. No carrier oils. No excipients of any kind.

The disclosure problem

Under South African law, manufacturers only have to declare the active ingredient on the label. Everything else — the other 90%, sometimes 99% of what you swallow — can stay hidden.

A typical vitamin D3 capsule on the shelf contains about 10 micrograms (1000 IU) of D3 in a 500 mg capsule. That’s less than 1%of what’s in there by weight. The remaining 99% is filler — and the brand is under no legal obligation to tell you what it is.

Why we tell you this

Our founder, Anna, is allergic to microcrystalline cellulose. Every product in her own range had to find another way. We share what we learn because we don’t believe in cutting corners — and an informed customer is the kind of customer worth having.

Our commitment · three vows

Three things we won’t bend on.

Brand promises read empty when they live in five-bullet marketing copy. Ours sit framed below — so you can hold us to them.

I.

Promise one

Your Health Partner.

Supplements as lifestyle partners — not medical replacements. We walk the road with you. No quick-fix promises.

II.

Promise two

Quality then Profit.

We source the cleanest raw materials we can find, even when they cost more. The business runs because the product is good — not the other way around.

III.

Promise three
